• The site was founded in Madison, WI, in 2009 by Craig Sayers who wanted to empower consumers so they could easily search and compare interest rates for FREE.

• Site information is timely and there is a broader scope of lenders in areas that are covered.

• Consumers are NOT required to fill in lengthy questionnaires and provide personal information to get rates. Information is anonymous.

• Wisconsin is the first state to be launched. rateOasis.com will expand across the country in the coming months.

• A free widget displays the daily averages for 30 and 15 year Fixed Rate mortgages across the country. It’s easily uploadable and a perfect service for the websites of real estate and insurance companies; agents and brokers; banks, credit unions and the media.
